Oakstone

For Oakstone Lodge, a cottage in Houyet, Atelier Matière designed a global project where wood, mineral materials and custom furniture create a warm and contemporary atmosphere.

Outside, the solid oak cladding and cap structure the architecture of the building. Inside, parquet floors, micro-concrete coatings and invisible doors create simple and coherent spaces.

Atelier Matière also imagined and produced all the custom furniture: kitchen, furniture in the entrance hall, billiard room with its bar, bench, dressing room and bathroom. A project designed and studied in its entirety, where each element contributes to the balance and character of the place.
