Maison&Objet Paris 2026

In January 2026, Atelier Matière participated in Maison&Objet Paris, one of the most prestigious events for design, interior architecture, and high-end furnishings.

For this edition, we envisioned a space where materials could express themselves freely. The stand showcased a contemporary kitchen, enhanced by a selection of noble materials and meticulously crafted finishes. At the heart of the project, an impressive monolithic island in natural stone conversed with a majestic movable wall made of solid wood.

A true architectural element, this structure transforms the space with just a few movements. When open, it reveals the kitchen and highlights the entire composition. When closed, it completely conceals the technical area, making way for a refined volume where material and proportions become the true protagonists.

This achievement illustrates Atelier Matière's commitment to designing spaces capable of adapting to contemporary lifestyles, where aesthetics are not limited to function but fully contribute to the experience of the place.

The contrasts between the minerality of stone, the warmth of solid wood, and the softness of the finishes create a subtle balance between authenticity and modernity. Each material was selected for its unique character and its ability to interact with the others.
